Old Perithia, today a ghost village, was built in the 14th century in the Pantokrator mountainsides, well-protected from the pirate attacks. It used to be buzzing with life and wealth, from farming lands to livestock. The views are stunning, making it a favoured spot for hikers and painters who appreciate its natural beauty.
